Business Analyst — Consulting & Project Delivery

Business analyst at a 330-person IT consultancy, working on internal transformation projects and client engagements across several practices, often several at once.

  • Implemented ELMO HRIS for the 330-person organisation over 6 to 8 months, then administered it as the sole subject-matter expert: service and change requests, permissions, workflow configuration, SOPs and super-user documentation.
  • Delivered a SharePoint system replacement for a New Zealand government agency in under two months, including data migration and validation, approval workflows and access controls, one week ahead of a pre-Christmas deadline.
  • Gathered requirements, evaluated six tools and recommended ClickUp for an organisation-wide resource and capacity planning initiative.
  • Ran discovery for a national liquor retail chain's centralised inventory system, building a level 2 data flow diagram and ERD and helping shape the statement of work.
  • Gathered and documented business requirements, mapped current and future-state workflows, and produced process documentation.
  • Investigated and resolved system and process issues across concurrent client engagements, working with users, technical teams and third-party vendors to find root causes and practical fixes.
  • Coordinated UAT, test cases and defect resolution before go-live.
  • Designed and configured workflow solutions in monday.com, ClickUp, Smartsheet and Zendesk, and Power BI dashboards drawing on SQL and Excel data.
  • Supported vendor engagement and implementation activities, including a later-stage Workday HCM implementation.
  • Trained non-technical users to adopt new and changed systems.
